Sounds like what Quickbooks does, iirc. So you don't want the "toolbar"
underneath a main Fox menu then, eh? IMO, that design is so
"old-fashioned" <g> and I'm glad I never did it. When I saw them, they
always were cheesy, with crummy graphics....reminded me of the CGA
days. ;-)
Weren't you using that cool menu add-on from that guy (Can't recall his
name)?? That should make your app impressive enough at start up, eh?
Or how about this idea: a digital dashboard of sorts showing mgmt
statistics (like how many units sold this month, or efficiencies, or
other executive stuff that gives them the heartbeat of the company via
your app). I saw something like this where the developer had docked a
small form on the left or right side of the monitor that was about 1.5"
wide and went from top to bottom, stocked with this kind of information.
Just some ideas for alternatives....sorry not more!
