Yeah - that's kinda what I'm talking about. With technology so fast these days - your really only going to notice something get slow if there is a LOT OF SH-T going on to cause a slow down. Like, doing 3D CG rendering - truth is - we almost never have enough power to make that happen quickly. But, that being said - there are now realtime renderers for creation of 3D images that actually happens on the Video Board. But, still - you need to blow a LOT of money on the kinda card that actually works well enough - we're talking like $3K to $5K just for a video card like that.

IMHO. <snipped> Remember when (in the late 90s) one of the big complaints was "OH, I don't want to have to put that 20 MB runtime on my system." Oh how things have changed in just over a decade. <g> -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/FDE194E758DF4CCABFFFF4F9E13094BD@Programming2 ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
