Hey Tracy - thanks for this extensive reply. Do I have to use "Show Window" - well, I was just doing it to try and follow the suggestion by Fred - which I didn't originally use. At this point, I've been open to trying anything - just to try and get things to work. I'm hoping to push thru these problems ASAP - since, its currently stopping me from making Major Progress in doing this whole System Conversion Utility that I have been working on...

If you really need to use the SHOW WINDOW you will need extra steps. Pass the parent form.name property to the second form. The second form will receive this in the INIT event.
