Kurt, VFP prior to VFP 9 SP 2 had trouble with being able to change the form caption on the fly on child windows. There was also display issues with borders not correctly appearing in the Vista/Windows 7 Areo Glass theme. One of the workarounds to this problem was to have a SHOW WINDOW in the INIT process. So, I ask again. Does the base class of your forms have this SHOW WINDOW? If it does, this could be the root of your problem.
