... and I seriously doubt that the tribal
knowledge of SaveAs will be passed on to the next one...

"Save As" is not only an obscurity, it's apparently a terrible burden for most people. Try telling people to use it to produce standard .doc files instead of .docx abominations in newer versions of Office and listen to them kvetch. "No!! Absolutely not! Instead of asking me to make an extra keystroke, why don't you spend $300+ to get a new version of Office?!"
