I installed the same environment two weeks ago.
Mine works fine.

Go to the folder where you have the code at.

On the blue line that says "organize, open, share with" where you are
viewing the contents of the folder.

Click on the "open" down arrow and select VFP

Subject: Incomplete installation?

I just installed VFP 9 along with SP2 and SP2 Help on a Windows 7
Professional system. The program comes up when its icon is clicked but
somehow Windows does not have a clue that a click on a .prg file should
result in opening the file in VFP or at least offering VFP as an option for
opening the file.

I don't know if this was an installation glitch or if the new behavior is
supposed to somehow enhance the user experience. How do I configure things
to get the behavior I expect?

TIA - Joe
