My experience with recovering keys from old MSDN subscriptions was different
but it's been a while. I found some support page that allowed me to ask how I
could get keys after I moved. They replied saying I could get up to 5(?)
different keys per request. I also found that I could still connect to the MSDN
portal with the creds associated with the subscription and the keys for certain
products were visible there.

Subject: Re: [NF] XP Pro 64 OS Install Problem.

ms are not always helpful - a while ago I needed an activation code for an OS
version I could have obtained from an msdn subscription but hadn't bothered.
The subscription had lapsed and no way could I get the code.
