Thanks Tracy,

Somehow it works better if one uses FormObject in the parameters line in
the function.  I had the syntax correct but used 'f'' as an abbreviation
for form.  Apparently FormObject has a special meaning in VFP.  I did a
search for it in help but did not find it.  Many thanks to you and the
Profox community!
