Welcome Howard! Another thing I don't think has been mentioned yet is that you are usually asked to 'flag' your posts in the subject line to designate it as to the general nature of the question.
For example: [No flag at all] - FoxPro specific - probably what you had in mind [NF] - not FoxPro specifically, but technical or computer related in nature [Admin] - Ed or someone announcing changes/testing that might be going on [OT] Rant and rave but that's actually a different mailing list you have to subscribe to. Also you'll notice when you search the archives that there are options to filter out non-OT and/or include [NF] etc. Just thought I'd mention that... Again, Welcome!
