Hi strangers,
Looking for a recommendation for a Windows 8 laptop. My requirements: Very light weight, max RAM (4 Gb+ or higher), high capacity SSD, long battery life, touch screen. The closest thing I've seen to an ideal choice is the Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook, but the RAM and SSD are limited and I'm nervous about the Acer reputation. Other options I'm considering are: - Asus Zenbook Prime Touch - ThinkPad X1 Carbon Ultrabook (but lacks a touchscreen) Or should I just say screw it and purchase a MacBook Air? My back of the napkin calculation for a nicely equipped 13" model is base model ($1200) + 8GB ($100) + 256GB SSD ($200) + i7 ($150) = $1650. Thoughts?
