Well, yeah, but how often is that the reason for data loss, or loss of 
availability for your app?

These guys didn't shut their doors and disappear. They announced that they were 
closing, and gave people time (not enough, IMO) to transfer their stuff 
elsewhere.

Compare that to data stored locally, with a crashed hard drive. What sort of 
notice do you get? ;-)
