No, that's not the fasted way.   The fasted way is to do a roll back using the 
system restore function using an earlier restore point, then running a 
heavy-duty virus cleaner like combofix

I'm asking because I'm getting ready to run some ads offering to support
pc's, and this has been one of my biggest problems in the past.



Simply because the fastest, most profitable way to fix a virus is to restore
the operating system from what I've experienced.
