Malcolm, you'll enjoy it. I suggest looking at "Path Finder" as a replacement for finder as Finder is in my opinion a weak link in OSX despite the new Mavericks improvements .... which I loaded over the weekend but it lasted a day as it was so slow compared with Mountain Lion on my Late 2011 13" Macbook with 16Gb. Evidently there are some updates in the pipeline to resolve the speed problems so I may take a look when they are released.
