I assume you're only worried about peripherals walking off and not
securing the actual ports.

A simple (but fairly crude) approach would be to use a smallish
padlock around the cables, and a nice, beefy chain or cable. The chain
should block enough of the shackle to prevent the plug ends from being
able to pass through while the lock is closed. Some washers or other
hardware could also be used to help block the shackle.

Not that I've ever actually done this, but it should work.
