I forgot about Parallels, which lets me run lots of Windows and Linux configurations, and switch between them with ease. However, Parallels is getting clunky, probably due to my aging machine. On Windows, I'm super-impressed with Oracle's VirtualBox (free), and I see they have a Mac client too, so once I can afford a new laptop I'll try that first.
