Just got a notice that the LOGMEIN service will no longer be free at the end of January. After that it is a special $49.00/year for long time users but no guarantee that this will hold after one year.
I tried Teamviewer but they discourage one from using it for general purpose customer support. Morally if you are using it for free then they only allow a single user to be able to access his own computer remotely, not to access numerous others. Are there any true and free/cheap remote access programs available that one can use to support one's customers? I only need a dozen or so remote sessions per year and cannot justify the hundreds of dollars per month charges that software like Rescue or TeamViewer are asking.
