The correct site to download ADWCleaner is:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

My advice is to use also RKill, Junkware Removal Tool and TDSSKiller, available
from bleepingcomputer.com.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/

I found ADWCleaner, downloaded it and the first part of the install told me it
would install  the Conduit search engine. Not what I expected and I stopped
there.

Hi Dan,

I've used ADWCleaner and am impressed.  I've always used Spybot in the past
but I think I'll be paying for MalwareBytes as well!

Thanks

John
