The whole system just *smells* like an old mainframe/mini system.

In a past life I worked for TicketMaster.  They used old Vax systems
(my last Fox job lol!).
These servers were out of the stone age (UK here, but the US used the
same hardware).

Replacement parts were bought on eBay.  I heard they were replacing
these with Vax emulators.

These handled booking for the entire of London's West End theatres (I
think there were 4) as well as large venues like Twickenham rugby
stadium.

Each server had a max storage capacity of 4Gb...
