This might be obvious but I don't remember it mentioned, the USPS has a
webservice to validate addresses. It's free to sign up for the
service. I'm not sure if there are limits but I worked for a company
and they were doing several vaidations per hour, and then printing
mailing labels for USPS pre-paid shipping. Might be worth a look.
