For those of us that have to register DLL/OCX files, Thank goodness for DOS
as windows won't do it if you need admin rights.

So it has been improved over 30 years. This is a surprise or a reason
to denigrate it?
I have used it for preparing a backup of an iteration that has to
include some subdirectories.
