Dave,
I realize that - the issue is that you can't center the image the way
you can with a general field.
So Picture 1 is 100 x 300
Picture 2 is 300 x 50
Picture 3 is 50 x 50
The space drawn for the image is an entire row in the band.
The problem is that with variable and file names, the images are always
left aligned.
With a General field, you can check the option to Center the image.
That's what I'm struggling with.

Why not put all the pictures on the report in the correct place and
use the "print when" dialog to only print the one you want. Just use a
private variable in your calling program to control which one is printed.
