Sytze, It is virtually the same on the client. You can set up the pre-prepared client to either always allow access from the mein site or to get it to confirm access. In fact to generate the client there are loads of options that you can set up like unattended installation etc.
As for the options, they are there in Splashtop also so you can run multiple screens as well as smooth mode or sharp mode (fastest and higher quality screen display) CTRL/ALT Delete send to client as well as screen zoom and auto size mode. The mouse can be set to scroll the screen automatically or you can use the mouse in what is called trackpad mode. All in all I can do everything in Splashtop that I could do in Teamviewer and as others have said, file transfer is done via either dropbox or FTP to an outside server - or using simple email. I distribute my software and updates with a small Teamviewer exe which is placed on the client pc, in my app location. If they need support, they click a menu option which activates the TV host and they email or phone me the ID and pw. The client likes this because they know I can't access their system without them knowing about it. I don't see this with Splashtop I like the process where no installation is required on the client PC A small exe is all that is required Splashtop seems to require installation. Teamviewer has many more options (a the top of the screen) e.g. Multiple screens, File transfers, Chat Maybe I've missed something. I will look further I do like the price !
