Yeah. That is what I did back in the msde days. Only had 2 gig back then and logs ate my shorts in space. 10 gigs just gets you more time till you start to run out of space so learn how to shrink logs. Not sure how you get to display an estimated execution plan in Express. Very helpful in identifying what is taking so long in a long process that you are coding. I guess that in Express you can identify multiple tempdbs for an instance. If you loved cursors in VFP #temp tables will seem like a great fit. Tweaking tempdb is important for optimal throughput. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Analyst Ring Container Technology Oakland TN 901.246-0159 cell --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/cajidmyj17gmd4cli-nd1orszuw28x-5gvtrvszdu+bagaw7...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
