When I was assembling my barbecue last summer, the directions did not make
sense. So I switched to the Spanish version. They were correct. If not for
the multilingual instructions, I might still be waiting for a finished barbecue
or worse; I could be dead from malnutrition due to the lack of a barbecue.

(Russel Stevens will understand that)

This is all based on agile distribution and JIT inventory. They make a fixed
number of units but have no idea where they will be sold or when. So each
package is complete in and of itself. Out the door, out of mind. Do you have
any idea how many copies of Dell's User Manual for monitors I would have if I
kept them all? Besides who reads that stuff anyway?
