Looks like even if I get a Win 10 "business" box to tinker with, I may not be able to keep it from installing FUBARed updates on itself, so I can tell the difference between what I screwed up and what MS screwed up, until sometime next year.

The implication, is that MS isn't likely to turn off Win 7 availability any time soon, since no sane corporate IT officer is going to move to Win 10 until this, among many other things, is sorted out.

 So now I don't know if it's even worth it for to start messing with this.

Where do I want to go today? I don't know, but I want it to be today, not next April.
