Ah,
I see what you mean now... you have (you thought) overridden the default value
and it reverts back.

Hmmmmm, not come across that one I must admit.

Have you tried creating a brand new dummy form and doing the same thing? At
least that will tell you if it is simply the form that is causing the error or
VFP.

Dave

I have reset the width to default (430) then changed it to 442 and saved the
changes. When I open the form for editing again the width has reverted to 425
!!!!!

I have tried with SET RESOURCE ON and OFF.

Paul,
You have changed the size in the form that uses the base class then this in
effect overrides the base class size hence the size in the form will be
"boldened".

You can reset it by right clicking on the actual form width and select the
"reset to default" which will then track the size of the base class whatever
you set it to.

Subject: Form width reverting

Hi all

This one is REALLY weird.

I have a form with width 425. I edit the form class, change the width to 442
and save the changes. When I re-open the form for editing, the width has
reverted to 425.

This is truly BIZARRE !

Any ideas?

Thanks

Paul Newton
