I have never seen it not stop on the next line of code that happens after a step next. When the form appears, the debugger is sitting at the READ EVENTS line, or back at the DO FORM when it is a modal form. The next event stops on the first line of code that fires.
I have only seen the debugger at the read events when there is nothing to do. Somehow, when a form gets shown, that effectively turns step off for me. Do I need to set something else?
