Add a breakpoint in the debugger for SET("STEP") and you'll find where
it gets turned off.

I did not state that it gets turned off but that it is as if it does get turned off. When my form is show()ed, that is when it happens. This is a bother as I want to be able to follow through the validation of the form. In the case that I wrote about, I could not put anything in the OK button that starts the reporting without modifying the superclass.
