That's just silly trolling. There was a security flaw in a *program* that runs under Linux (which has been patched). No one who works with security would ever claim that there is any such thing as a perfectly secure operating system. There are just too many moving parts. What *has* been claimed regarding Linux vs. Windows is a) it's much easier to find and exploit flaws in Windows, b) Windows frequently runs many processes with full admin privileges that don't really need to be, and c) patches are much more slowly delivered on Windows. -- Ed Leafe --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/signed text/plain (text body -- kept) application/pgp-signature --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
