Windows XP was 5 concurrent connections. This was upped to 10 in Vista
and later upped to 20 in Windows 7 where as far as I know it remains. 

You can change this via registry fiddling (I think) but as far as I can
see doing that (a) violates the EULA and (b) is otherwise regarded as a
Bad Idea.
