The last time I tried to use the file transfer I found it to be so dodgy I gave up. I'd pick a couple of files to transfer, hit the button and it asked to confirm different files. Not helpful... That's version 3.02.1, I believe.

Richard, I realised I have been running V2 of the streamer software and it only automatically updates to the latest V2 and doesn't do an automatic upgrade to V3 which has the file transfer in it. Well spotted. And yes, it is a little kludgy but it does work! File transfer for Splashtop has been coming for a long time. It's actually there; just doesn't work very well. -- rk -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dave Crozier Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2015 11:46 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [NF] Are you using your own VPN outside the office? Andy, Teamviewer allows you private use but if you start to use it to more than one site on a regular basis they lock you out. Personally I use "Splashtop Business" which is a yearly subscription of about £40 per annum so quite reasonable for unlimited access out to any number of client machines and easy install on the client machine - (one click from either a link or an email attachment). Only thing missing is file transfer (Promised for later this year) and/or drag/drop from the session onto your local desktop. Personally I use Dropbox for that anyway. Nice thing is it very quick, the host can run on iPad, Android as well as OSX and even iPhone although the remote client is limited to Windows. It also supports twin screens at the client end.
