Thanks, Gianni

Let me repeat mention of 2 possibilities for consideration

1. Open source VFP. In light of MS's new found interest and movement in this direction it would be consistent to add FoxPro to the list. Very importantly it would demonstrate support for the people who bought into their acquisition of Fox, despite MS's secret plan to buy it and kill it, with hugely damaging effect on businesses that trusted MS would not do this.

This prospect can come to a head if a change to Windows breaks something in FoxPro and the only way forward for FoxPro apps is a service pack.

2. Identifying companies with competitive compilers as to their plans and progress towards provide a bridge for FoxPro applications with a minimum of re-writing.

Wes's matter of fact discussion on re-writing FoxPro applications doesn't acknowledge that for small companies with substantial applications built over many years the cost is prohibitive.
