Thanks Richard, First off - I think you must be on the right track as I have discovered that even with a complete machine reboot, when VFP comes up, it already has the tabs at the top of the screen and when I click on the All tab, I can see that the project I am trying to work on is already selected.
I tried "set resource off" in the command window but could not tell a difference. I thought the system creates a resource file in the folder where it is executing but don't see one. I need to leave the office for a while.
