Your last question was about FoxPro 2.6. Is this, because the version
makes a difference?

In the more recent VFPs, CDXes are much more stable and don't need
rebuilds as often.

And there is no "CORRUPT CDX" command in VFP; this is often indicative
of an unstable network, or an app where the clients turn off their
machines.
