I've definitely found a difference between foxpro 2.6 and VFP indexes.
Had a lot more problems with the 2.6 ones so was easy enough to set up
an overnight indexer. We don't do this now the system has been upgraded
to VFP but just run it every month or so to keep index bloat down.
