Michael, If the problem is not simply a VFP one then I suspect the printer. HP Printer drivers for this machine are BAD BAD BAD. They print out sporadically, ignore standard A4 Margins and generally loose printed data on a regular basis. We gave up on them about 4 months ago after I searched and searched for a better driver to no avail.
If you Google on the drivers you will see that in many forums people have had the same problems that you are experiencing. We have moved over to the equivalent Epson with no problems whatsoever. I have an application that prints month end statements... This report is 66 pages... What happens is the printer prints 46 pages and stops (returns to ready) The user then has to rerun the report specifying pages 47 to 66. If the user preivews the report it shows all 66 pages. By the way, this software is installed in 5 branches and this only happens with one. In the main branch, we have copied the data and ran the report with the branch's data and this happens there as well. 1. Why would it print only 46 pages? and then stop? 2. What is different in the branch? 3. Could it be printer settings? If so what to look for? 4. What could be happening in Fox? Real strange, eh!
