Call it prescient or just plain horse-sense, I can't say, but there are
some things about which I have absolutely no doubt. One such no-brainer
was the Iraq debacle. That writing was large and all over the wall.

But there's more writing. It says: "another attack here is coming".
Whether it's suicide bombers blowing up on 34th Street, a radioactive
device exploding in Washington DC, or something completely out of left
field, such an attack is coming. It's only a matter of time.

The rationale for those who would do such a thing is simple: to get back
at us for what we've done to their people in the ME; to prove to us that
we are not indestructible, almighty or even safe, and to regain their
honor and pride.

Of all the talk, all the writing, all the "news" we see today, NOBODY is
talking about the prospects of another attack here. Clearly the mindset
is "if we don't think or talk about it, it can't happen". The problem
with this "head-in-the-sand strategy" is that it sets things up for the
Big Surprise, where everyone is so totally shocked, awed and outraged
that such a thing could happen that they will easily be convinced to get
behind a Big Response. That is, if we thought the response to 9/11 was a
big deal, watch what they'll do the next time.

I know that the last thing people want to hear about is how the war is
going to get worse. The argument for saying this now is that if we wait
for such an event, then everyone will be too whipped up and hysterical
to think clearly, as happened after 9/11, so we need to come up with a
plan now - before it happens.

Here's the crux of this monster problem: the neocons are still in power.
We hear all the arguing and finger-pointing in their ranks, and all the
excuses being thrown around for their failure to-date. We've even seen a
head or two roll - BUT, despite all the talk, all the maneuvering, all
the bullshit: THEY ARE STILL IN POWER. Big Oil and the MI complex are
richer and more powerful then before, and AIPAC isn't even phased.

The part we don't seem to get is this: they will not - ever - give up on
the ME. Their philosophy doesn't care about the cost or how many lives
are wasted. In fact, the way things are arranged, bigger war means even
more riches and power to the military and oil wings. I know, it's really
hard to imagine that people with such riches and power could possibly
want still more, but that's the nature of power.

Isn't anyone noticing that our entire information supply is mute on what
I'm talking about here? Given the circumstances and the significance of
this possibility, wouldn't you think it wise to be paying some serious
attention to it, and to have a plan BEFORE it happens?

If you believe what I'm saying here - that the neocons WANT another
attack to happen, then perhaps you'll see yet another angle: that the
handful of media barons who have broad editorial control over what most
people see on the TV are in bed with the gang, and that they are laying
low and hunkering down, and don't want any attention given this
possibility at this time.

Why? So that when an attack does happen, the gang can then take full
advantage of the "shock value" and unleash an intense flood of "we told
you so" propaganda to get everyone cowered before their superior wisdom.
They will proclaim their philosophy completely vindicated, stand back up
in the driver's seat, make their war bigger, and resume their mission to
seize authority in the ME by launching the plan of attack they've been
working on all along. You do know there are any number of covert
missions going on in the ME right now, by way of preparation, right?

Nothing brings this plan together better then another attack here. And
the stage is all set. As we speak, we have fewer friends and more hatred
towards us then ever before. There are legions of people who will gladly
give their lives to play their part. We do understand that such people
are the most dangerous imaginable, right?

The only part that's not clear is the timing.

Anyone who thinks that Rumsfeld's departure signaled the end of their
rule, and that current events have them humbled, don't be fooled for a
second. He was just a dispensable pawn, like Powell and others who
outlived their usefulness or got in the way.

Here are 3 major actions that can alter this course of events:

1. Remove everyone connected with the neocons from power. Best way to do
this is to put the ringleaders on trial for the deceit they used to
launch the invasion of Iraq. Even if the trial goes on for a long time,
at least they will be out of power.

2. Remove our military from the ME.

3. Determine ourselves to fix that's wrong with the UN and making it
strong enough to deal with problems that only a world organization can
solve, such as international terrorism, wmd proliferation and the
Israel/Palestine problem. With this organization strengthened, when an
attack does occur, we'll have a world-scale response to put in motion to
deal with it.
