I'm having a great time with my Brother MFC-8640D - Multi-function laser
printer/scanner/fax. I bought the network card and it's available to
all of the computers including my girlfriend's iMac.

I just got a new HP D7360 Photo printer and it seems to do a good job
with that kind of thing but doesn't do CD labels well -- too many twists
and turns.

My old Canon i860 is still going strong and is attached to my
girlfriend's iMac for her color printing needs...

I like inkjet printers with separate ink cartridges for each color. I
like my laser though for black and white.

I have had a couple of older HPs die though...somewhat prematurely in my
opinion.
