It perished because people got fat and lazy, much like
Europe today.

Everyday was a Roman Holiday, debauchery was the past
time of the day, sick entertainment such as animal and
human slaughter, it fell under it's own weight.  Much
like today where we're being invaded by the Muslim
hoards.

Europe now has stupid-high unemployment, ungodly
amounts of vacation time, a complete lack of morals,
rampant homosexuality and celebration of it, and a
general laziness.  Heck, they'd rather the Muslims
take over than lift a finger to prevent it.
