It perished because people got fat and lazy, much like Europe today. Everyday was a Roman Holiday, debauchery was the past time of the day, sick entertainment such as animal and human slaughter, it fell under it's own weight. Much like today where we're being invaded by the Muslim hoards.
Europe now has stupid-high unemployment, ungodly amounts of vacation time, a complete lack of morals, rampant homosexuality and celebration of it, and a general laziness. Heck, they'd rather the Muslims take over than lift a finger to prevent it. --- Jean Laeremans <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On 12/2/06, Michael Madigan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > The Roman Empire was capitalist. why do you think > it > > lasted so long? > > Any idea why it perished ? > > A+ > jml > > > _______________________________________________ > Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com > Subscription Maintenance: > http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox > OT-free version of this list: > http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech > ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, > are the opinions of the author, and do not > constitute legal or medical advice.
