That's always been a popular thing for some to say, "the PO-lice won't even go there". Personally, those are the places I took my troops, when I heard that. The last time I heard that gangsters had put out a death threat against the PO-lice, I took 10 cars into the area. We hit every arrest warrant within a 10 block area and stopped everything that looked suspicious. We would up getting in a foot chase, recovering a stolen car and a fully loaded .45 automatic pistol from the floorboard. So, the bottom line is, you are right, we not only will go to those places, we usually will go there first!
