The VFP setup.exe requires the C++ 7.x runtime. That is downloadable from MS. Also, if you are one of the few & brave that use Task Pane you also need to install the soap SDK which is included as an msi on the CD.

Since My CD is hiding somewhere in my office I'm hoping I can retrieve the key from my other laptop that has a working installation. (This one had a working installation of VFP9 when it was upgraded to Windows 10.) Should I give up on the ISO and copy the installation folder from the working machine. If I do - can I choose a different folder on the destination machine or will that foul up the works? (Woody recommends avoiding the default installation folder.)
