If it is "needless to say," then why ... oh, never mind. <g>

I've been with AOL since I can't remember when and I have never had any problem 
with them except for the one time my son, in his infinite wisdom, decided to 
impersonate Steve Case (in a jocular manner of course) and they shut down the 
whole account.  I always considered his screen name to be a typo ... SCase 
should have been XCuse.

With the release of AOL9, I've started a campaign to get everyone off of AOL.  
The software has become bloated (starts about 15 services) and assumes that 
everyone who uses it knows nothing about computers.  In doing so, it consumes 
about 20-30% of system resources even if no "online" (not web-based) connection 
is running.

In its heyday AOL was really good (and so easy to hack <g>).
