        Imagine if it were a job where, if you performed well, you kept it,  
but if you didn't, you didn't get to keep it.

        Term limits are the band-aid on the real wound to our government:  
campaign financing. If politicians didn't have to spend every minute  
after they get elected fund-raising to get re-elected, we might  
actually get something done. And removing the flow of money from  
lobbyists will at least make it *possible* for a politician to be  
somewhat honest.

        Of course, the people who would need to make these changes are the  
very scum we need to remove, and they will do everything they can to  
maintain the current system that favors them so strongly.
