I'm trying out Open Office on my new machine. 

I have a document that was created in WORD 2000. 

I then "Protected" the document in Word in order to track changes made 
by me and my partner in this project (It's a book).  Tools/Protect Document.

I made some changes to test the protection, all is well.  The changes 
are in a different color.  I saved a version and it shows up under 
File/Versions.  When I protected the document I checked "Tracked 
changes" and DID NOT enter a password.

When I bring up the document in OO-Writer it shows the changes 
correctly, marks any new changes I make correctly but the File/Versions 
option is greyed out -- I can't view the versions nor save a new one.

What gives all you OO gurus???
