Any suggestions on a utility to mount an ISO CD image file as a virtual CD/DVD drive vs. burning throw-away CD/DVD's everytime I need to install from a downloaded ISO file?
There appear to be a lot of options for Linux - I'm looking for a Windows 2000/XP solution. I've been googling and found: 1. Daemon Tools (with warning to avoid) http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5 2. A free, unsupported MS utility <http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/b/6/7b6abd84-7841-4978-96f5-bd58df02efa2/winxpvirtualcdcontrolpanel_21.exe> 3. ISO Buster ($30) http://www.smart-projects.net/cdrecovery.php Any one have any suggestions on what to use or avoid - or should I just burn a damn CD and be done with it ;) Malcolm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
