I agree and according to the article made 70% of its 1.75 Billion income from membership fees! I go to the Costco near us because of the gas station. Last weekend I paid $2.09 and it was $2.25-$2.29 at the other gas stations in the area. I think I get my $50 back in savings at the gas station. If it wasn't for the gas station it would not be as good of a deal. The food is also good for the price. We do have a Wal-Mart and a Super Target (has grocery) near the Costco and we go to all three for different items. David L.
