There are lots of UI that helps with the config files.  But config files
aren't that bad, really.  Here's an example:

The Windows Way:
Okay, click Start, and then Control Panel, ... you have Windows 98?
hmmm.  I've got XP but I think it should be the same ... click on
Network Connections, then click on Local Area Connection, there should
be a button called "Properties" so click on that, then in the middle box
there should be a checked box next to "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" so
double click on that.  Is the radio button for "Obtain an IP Address
Automatically" selected?

The Linux way:
Open up command window.
Type in "su" and press enter.
Type in the password.
Type in exactly this: "ifconfig wlan0:0 192.168.1.99 netmask
255.255.255.0 up" and press the enter key.

This is just an example but which is more difficult?  It's just
different truly.  But I would prefer the second method. <s>
