If not, you should be able to update the 'computer' driver in Windows
from ACPI Multi-processor to ACPI Uni-processor, forcing Windows to
just use one core. Obviously you'll want to switch back to the
multi-processor 'driver' afterwards...  This has always worked with
hyperthreaded and true dual CPU's in the past, and I'm assuming it
still works with dual core CPUs, but I haven't actually tried with
one...
