Steve was up on his feet just 24 hours after his surgery. He took two steps with a walker, felt light-headed and went back to bed. By the afternoon he had walked 12 feet. Tomorrow the physical therapist is going to show him how to handle stairs! I don't know yet when he is coming home. It could be as early as Friday, or it could be next week some time. But so far he seems to be doing quite well.
