Cut down on or stop eating beef. More vegetables, grains and cereals are
healthier for us. As we get older, we need less red meat. Also fish, which
can be more expensive than beef, is a good choice for protein and the omega3
fatty acids in them are good for our immune system.

Personally, corn doesn't do much for me. I don't digest it very well. As a
kid, I loved eating fresh corn on the cob. So if I can't afford the higher
priced corn and beef, it's fine by me.

Instead of drilling for oil in the Gulf and in Alaska and off the coast of
California, why not make a deal with Castro's Cuba. Recently they discovered
vast reserves of Crude off the shores of Cuba.

But then again, you might have to deal with a communist and that may not be
up your alley, Mike. Then again, the U.S. could exploit the tars sands of
northern Canada, the second largest known reserves of oil in the world. Ah
shoot, you'd have to deal with another 'communist' government.

It's inflationary any way you look at it.
